We recently hired Alvarado Custom Carpentry to help enhance our home we just bought before we moved in. The work included painting nearly the entire house, adding wallpaper and shadow box trim to the powder room, adding a vanity to the powder room, shadow box trim all throughout the entry way, up the stairs, and all throughout the upstairs hallway. They also replaced our chandlier. Our nursery and daughters bathroom were also painted with stripes. They patched all of the dry wall from the previous owners speaker system that was all throughout the basement near the ceiling.

There was a miscommunication with the bathroom that needed to be redone and Ismael and his team came out a couple days later and fixed it.

I would recommend this hard working, talented group to anyone in the area. They stand by their work, they are thorough, they are respectful, and they are trustworthy. While we were still living in our old house in another state, we had packages being delivered. This included 2 rolls of 12' rubber flooring that was extremely heavy. They offered to move it from the driveway to the basement in our house for us. Throughout their time here they brought in several packages for us as well.

We are going to be having more work done to the house in the future and will surely be using Alvarado Custom Carpentry again.

Thank you all for your hard work, we love what you did with our new home!

Second time we have had Alvarado Custom Carpentry perform major renovations on our 1890 home and the results were the same; they do beautiful work.

If I could give Alvarado and his team more than five stars, I would. They recently completed a full renovation of our master bedroom and another full bathroom, and the results exceeded every expectation.

Their quality of work is truly unmatched. Every detail was completed with exceptional craftsmanship, and it’s clear they take great pride in what they do. Throughout the entire project, communication was outstanding. Alvarado kept us informed every step of the way, answered our questions promptly, and always followed through on what he promised.

The team was professional, reliable, respectful of our home, and finished with an incredible attention to detail. Renovations can be stressful, but they made the entire process smooth and enjoyable.

Without hesitation, Alvarado is the only contractor I will use going forward, and I recommend him to anyone looking for high-quality work and an honest, dependable team. You won’t be disappointed.

We have been in our current home for 10+ years and we were finally ready to take the plunge and finish out the remaining rooms of our basement as well as add built-ins and a dry bar to the existing finished space. We were a bit nervous of the project ahead as we knew it would extensive, we met with several contractors and knew instantly after meeting with Ismael that's who we needed to go with! Throughout the entire process Ismael and his team were incredibly professional, communicative, and they did an amazing job (their craftsmanship is out of this world good). We are so thrilled with how everything turned out and are already planning our next projects!

The Alvarado team did an excellent job on some built-in bookshelves and storage for our home office. The built-ins were incorporated seamlessly into the room and the craftsmanship and attention to detail were amazing. The team had to move electrical outlets and re-paint walls and trim and they made the room look brand new and fully complete. The team was so respectful of our home and space and made the project seem neat and tidy for something that is in reality a messy job. We would hardly know they had been there at the end of each day. They were very kind and truly talented and we could not be happier with our new built-ins! Thank you so much for the excellent work!

Alvarado Custom Carpentry has done quite a bit of work in my house to include complete kitchen and bath remodel, new floors and stairs, and built in bookcases. All work exceeded our expectations and came out beautifully. The company was professional and kept spaces as clean as possible throughout the work. We would absolutely hire them again for any future work.

Alvarado custom carpentry did an excellent job in building a library style book shelf with ladders. The finished product is even better than expected. The team puts lots of attention to details and offered great design advice!

We had an excellent experience with Alvarado Custom Carpentry. From the first estimate with Jose to the finished product built by Kennedy and Ikar, our kitchen was totally transformed. We gave them an idea and a blurry concept photo and they produced exactly what we were looking for but better. The team treated our house well and left it better than they found it. We highly recommend.

We recently hired Alvarado to completely reface our kitchen cabinets, and the results exceeded our expectations. They refaced all of our cabinets with new doors, replaced drawers with new boxes and fronts, added soft-close hardware to everything, refinished the existing cabinet boxes and added additional recessed lighting.

Beyond the refacing, they also took on a custom redesign of one section of the kitchen. They tore out the existing cabinets and built an entirely new layout that includes a built-in mini fridge, a pull-out trash can, and a stacked cabinet with pocket doors to neatly house our coffee station and microwave. The design is both functional and beautiful — it completely transformed how we use the space.

The quality of the craftsmanship was excellent throughout. Just as importantly, the crew was professional and respectful of our home the entire time. They cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day and left the kitchen spotless when the job was done.
We couldn't be happier with the final result and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality cabinet or remodeling work.

We had previously hired them to build a custom fireplace mantel and surround for our two-story foyer which also turned out great.
